10 Natural Ways to Kill Pathogens (Microbes)

Immunity

To fight off pathogens, you simply must have a strong immune system. The immune system is the foundation of protection against every disease. Immunity depends on many things, but few people know that gut flora has an extremely large influence, if not the largest. The bacteria in your intestines make up 3 kg of your total body weight. An unhealthy diet, pollution, antibiotics, and other factors kill a large number of your microbes and throw them out of balance, which significantly weakens your immune system. Vitamin D is also very important for the strength of your white blood cells, as is zinc.

Fasting (Intermittent Fasting)

One of the exceptional things that will certainly help you is fasting (intermittent fasting), which we wrote about in some of our previous articles. Think about what every animal does when it is sick. It starves. When you don't eat, you give your body a chance to redirect energy from digestion to something else, that is, to healing.

Blood pH Level

One of the things people often forget about is the pH level in different organs, especially in the blood. Different organs have different pH levels. The most important thing is to maintain a stable pH level in the blood and stomach. Apple cider vinegar is excellent for increasing stomach acid and at the same time speeds up the process of phagocytosis, the process by which our white blood cells eat bacteria.

Medicinal Herbs

The best way to fight against all types of microorganisms is the use of medicinal herbs. For every disease and every problem, there are appropriate plants. Different phytochemicals that are specific only to plants have a very broad spectrum of action. Sulforaphane is an excellent example of a phytochemical that has shown exceptional antiviral properties, and it is abundant in young broccoli. Then there is garlic, widely known for killing microbes. We also have turmeric, onion, oregano, as well as many other plants.

Salt

Salt actually draws water out of bacteria and has antimicrobial effects. Immune cells also use salt as a source of chlorine, from which they make compounds to kill microbes.
