In today’s article, we’ll mention the causes that lead to the appearance of a larger or smaller number of pimples. This problem is an everyday occurrence for young people during adolescence, although it also appears in other groups of people. To solve a problem, it’s important to understand its cause, so let’s take a look at the most common causes and how you can respond whether or not they are the issue.

The first reason is sugar. This unhealthy substance is the cause of many problems, including pimples. Sugar is the number one cause of pimples, followed immediately by dairy products. A keto diet will help you clear your skin and get rid of pimples when it comes to sugar, and the results are even better when you also fast. It’s impossible to completely avoid sugar because it’s found everywhere, from green vegetables to sweets; the difference is, of course, in the amount, the type of carbohydrates, and what comes with them. Pure sugar that is added to sweets and drinks is bad and dangerous, unlike carbohydrates that contain a small amount of pure sugar and usually plenty of fiber, which together with vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients makes an ideal combination that varies with each type of food, yet remains excellent for your diet.

Cut down on sugar as much as you can and on dairy products.

The second reason may be androgens. These are male hormones that, in high levels, cause problems in women and most often trigger pimples. Stress significantly increases androgens, so that is another cause you should work on. This group of problematic compounds also includes DHT (dihydrotestosterone), which leads to hair loss, especially in men. A great remedy against this is nettle root, which, in addition to lowering DHT levels, also has an anti-inflammatory effect.

The third reason for pimples is high estrogen levels. This is the main reason why some women suddenly get pimples during or shortly after menstruation. Powder made from various green vegetables helps a lot here. You get this powder when you completely dry fresh vegetables, but without high temperatures, so that all the beneficial ingredients such as vitamins and phytonutrients are preserved, and then you put them in a blender and turn them into powder.

Vegetable powder or powder from other plants is an excellent way to get the necessary healthy ingredients because the ingredients are then concentrated, and you can easily add the powder to a meal, smoothie, or drink.

The fourth reason is an allergy to something in food. When it comes to this type of problem, skin changes most often occur. However, it’s not all about allergies. It’s usually because of things you are less tolerant to, and sugar is the best example of that. Cut out all sweets for 15–20 days and you’ll see how much better your skin will be, since that is the most common cause.

The fifth reason is a vitamin A deficiency. Beware of synthetic vitamins; they have a lot of side effects. It’s best to get enough vitamins naturally, that is, through healthy food. It’s important to note that a deficiency of this vitamin may not only be due to insufficient intake of the vitamin, but other problems may also be involved. Those problems are as follows: gallbladder issues, where poor bile secretion leads to poor absorption, liver problems, and poor gut flora, since microbes help bile absorb the vitamin. Cod liver oil is helpful here, and antibiotics will make the situation worse.

Possible reasons for a lack of this vitamin are: gallbladder problems, insufficient intake, liver problems, poor gut flora, and the use of probiotics.

The sixth reason is a zinc deficiency. Zinc is a very important element when it comes to skin health. A lack of this mineral leads to pimples and dry skin problems. A diet high in carbohydrates depletes your zinc reserves.

A diet high in carbohydrates reduces the amount of zinc in your body.
